Ohhh.. soo like, he just pushes buttons, and makes the appointments for the vehicles?
Gotcha...
And ya, don't talk to me about these trucks...
I know about these things...
You, well... you don't...
I mean...
Look over here...
<--
Tech Certified...
End of story.

Depends on what kind of certified you're talking about, besides that, I didn't realize that you were ASE certified there Frenchy. Congrats.

The "Tech Certified" icon doesn't mean he's ASE certified, it means they are knowledgable about their respective vehicles, and help out a lot. It's given out by the administrators of the site to people that know their stuff, which Frenchy definitly shows he does.
And yea, I've seen "ASE Certified" techs that seem dumber than a box of rocks. I asked for a cheater pipe at the garage, and the guy said, "We don't use those, we use the right tools." Haha.. idiot.
With that being said, the 4.7L never had spark plug wires, and, probably never will, since the whole industry is getting rid of them.
Anyways, as for the tune-up: spark plugs (I've heard good about NGKs, and not good about Bosch+2/+4 style plugs), and air filter are the main things. You might try running SeaFoam or something like it through the fuel system, and you can dump it down the throttle body as well. Mopar makes a Combustion Chamber Cleaner (P/N 04318001AB, it was like $9), which you spray down the throttle body, turn the engine off, let stand for 5-10 minutes, and it helps clean the engine (thus the name ) Just remember to read the directions ([&o]I know) before dumping stuff into your engine.
Oh yea, don't forget to fill the blinker fluid, feed the mice in the motor, and replace them spark plug wires .
