Default Leak/Wet Drivers Side Floor!

I have an 07 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab, Laramie. I've had it for about 2 weeks and we got about 2" of rain over the weekend and it was sitting outside and never driven in the rain during the storm.

When I got in it on Monday morning the floor on the drivers side was completely soaked! The window was up and the door was shut tight! Anyone else have a similar problem? I vacuumed up about 3 cups of water from the carpet. This is on the Drivers side only.

Thanks

I don't have that problem, but I remember someone else having the problem.....

Do a search and see if you can find out any information...

Ya, I seem to remember that too. but maybe it was passenger side. I think it was the windshild seal

Okay I don't remember anything but... my friend's sister just leased a quad Cab ST and it was on the lot when it rained two days ago, they took it for a test drive and all the water from the rain the day before pooled by the drivers side door.. of course the dealer fixed it for free and I'm almost 100% positive it was the seal from the rear window that was faulty... and it pooled by the drivers side door because of the 2" rake on our trucks...

Hope this helps...

I had this problem a while back when we got soaked with a heavy rainfall. I didn't wuote have 2" of rain come in, but my door seal on the passenger side was not sitting correctly. I removed it (yes they remove rather easily) and used 3M weather stripping adhesive (which you can find at AutoZone, Advanced, etc. for about $4.50) to secure it properly and that cured it. See if that helps.
