and just think the abuse i put my truck through since day one. and you just stop and wait to go then all of a sudden kaboom. i dont understand it. rear ends are not suppose to up and explode like that. it would be normal if you had over horsepowered the rear for the explosion. seems it was not assem. correctly at the factory. make sure when you receive the build sheet from the new install, that they replaced the ring pinion, new bearing kit and axle seals along with the recommened fluid. and after the first 500 miles bring it back in for the fluid change again.then come on out to ct and we can start laying down some strips.

Well,

I just went to Mr. Lube and had my front and rear Differential done to ensure this does not happen to me. I am following the maintenance guide to a "T" now. Not taking any chance with Dodge not wanting to warrenty something.

i have the 7 / 70 on my 05. everything is covered unless i do something drastic to the truck. the 06/07 got the short end of the deal. you need to pay for the extra warrenty. and no matter what the deductible is 100.00.

I'll tell you what,I've been talking w/ Dodges Road Side Assistance. and she was telling me that,Now IM Quoting her, she told me the the MFG.warranty comes w/ 84 months/70K which ever comes first also w/ $100.00 deduct which applies after the 36K/36 month marker.
Now my Warranty Booklet(and yurs)states 70K/70 month.

My Diff case was cracked badly, pinion damaged and ring was also junk I want to talk w/ the Tech and ask him is this kinda thing common w/ our trucks and was this whole FU in the making,I mean how'd this happen from normal driving?!?

Depends. I think your's is an '06, too. We only have the 3yr/36K standard. I think the '05s had an extended powertrain warranty-- 7/70 or something like that.
