I believe the general consensus is to go with the Trailmaster. There have been 'issues' (read stuff breaking)with the Truxx kit. Othere with the kit actually installed may be able to provide better information...

I highly recommend the trailmaster kit. I have it on my truck (ordered it from autoanything actually) and it actually improved the ride a bit. My dealer even replaced a blown shock under warranty when I brought it in with that kit on the truck, it doesn't run the chance of damaging your suspension because all it does is preload the spring.

The Truxx kit is not recommended for 4x4's because it drops your front suspension too low at full extension. This causes a lot of wear on the front driveaxles. Also the trailmaster kit is much cheaper.
