Newbie here - Amp mounting location help
Hi All,
I'm a newbie to the group - hope everyone is doing well!!
I have a '06 QC Nightrunner and have done a few mods, but looking for some assistance. Going to upgrade the OEM stereo system and not sure where to mount the amp. Seems to beno room under the drivers seat, very tight under the passenger seat.... maybe behind the rear seats on the wall????
BTW, its an Alpine amp (FS-250, I think) fairly small as amps go, I believe. Where do you run the power cable? Through the firewall or under the floorboards? Any specific suggestions?

i haave the cc and it fits perfect between the rear seats. also there are no holes in the firewall for cables. you need to drill and put rubber grouments in. nexted i ran my cables under the carpet along the door sills.

Ok, soooo... there are holes in the fire wall to run your power wire, just depends on the size of the wire and how much you feel like digging. drivers side is a little tough, but the higher you look the more there is to get through.
As far as amounting poistion, I mounted my amps, line driver, and capacitor under the rear seat. I dont use it for storage, so it made sence to me.
I will try to get some pics for ya, but work is crazy on the weekend. I have monday off so pics by then should be a Piece of cake.
