That's what I need to do too, minus the 180 t-stat. All hopefully by the end of September...once my mechanic gets back from his honeymoon.

It's not that I can't do it, I'm just not allowed to work on my truck in my apartment complex's parking lot, so we use his garage.

 

why dont they let you do that stuff in the parking lot, as long as you dont make a mess of it (oil change ect) i really dont understand that rational

 

I'm not sure, it's just stated in the lease that I can't do it. I can park anything I want there, including trailers, but I can't work on any of it. And I live in the same building as the leasing office, so they'll see anything I do six days a week.

 

that sux, i like living in the suburbs, (my parents own the house outright) it makes life soooo much nicer

 

Well, I can't afford my own place at this point, so the apt will have to do. My parent's are an hour away, and I've done some work there, but that usually chews up a whole day...the driving back and forth, usually have to have a meal with them and visit a bit, too.

I'm hoping to buy my own house here in the next year or so, if whatever job I end up with pays well enough.
