Default New 180 thermostat in

I put in the new thermostat that I got from Advance Auto pn 65358. It is a Stant Superstat Heavy Duty. It made a HUGE difference in temperature. I'm not sure if it was a faulty 195 or what but I was always going over the half mark while driving. I don't baby it...I drive it like I stole it. I had to adjust the thermostatic switch for the electric fan to have it cut on at a higher temperature...My dad needs to take my little brother to go get some school supplies so he is going to run it for a little and see how it works... Overall I am very happy..

Now I need to call around the local shops to see if they will do a custom exhaust for my truck...I am unsure whether I want to do either a 3" single or 2.5" dual. I am thinking I want to supercharge it later on..

the 180 stat is great for the truck. it will never reach 1/2 way even in stand still 100 degree weather. i have the single 3 inch catback and the low end grunt out of the hole is fantastic. sounds like a dual set up also 250.00 out the door and i paid in cash so they did not charge sales tax.

i went to the local guy who does this on the side. but midas or meinike have the kits. but are kinda expensive. get a nice mufler and go to any local shop that hangs exhaust and they will be able to fab one up. some kits cost well over 500.00 and are not worth it.go to www.grabthepower.com and look at the system set ups and sound clips. i have the imco 3 inch from this site and i am happy with it
