New call for programmers-get involved
Since we seem to have quite a few new members, I asking for all to once again get those e-mails out to Superchips and Hypertech for programmers for our trucks. They have websites, go after them. Do it now and keep after them. They won't do it unless they see there is a demand.
there was a guy at dyno day that had an 04 4.7 ram that ran stock 174 at the wheels, once he installed the programmer it turned 188 at the wheels. so are you willing to spend 400.00 or more for a programmer that only gives you 14 more horses?
Well like anything else I would expect larger gains with a more modded truck since everything works together. At any rate there's no reason not to ask, I'm sure a decent number of people want them

(Searching on google it seems that for the 4.7's vin N is the normal one and vin J is the H.O.)

That's exactly my reasoning. When your talking about programming a truck that has performance mods in place as opposed to stock the hp gains would have to be considerably greater.
