Drew do you have photobucket set to auto-resize pictures? That one looks like it got a little squished. The smaller image of it on the last page looks amazing though.

Since you're looking for criticism, the flames at the top don't seem to flow quite as well as the rest, very good work though!

P.S. I'm stealing this for my avatar, if you'd rather I don't use it let me know

it looks squashed bc it automatically zooms out (resizes the image) in the new window so you can see the whole thing. click on it and it should enlarge. from those size proportions, when you put it on your background, it will be real close and should fit quite well.

ex: here is how it fits on mine

also, i just centered it, i did not stretch it. i centered it and made my background black. if honestly, you want to stretch it, i feel the image becomes too large. if you want me to, i can expand the canvas and fill in the edges black and keep central focus (dodge logo) the same size...which, that is basically just doing what i did with my desktop

Well no, I was saying if you look at that one and the one you posted on the last page, the logo itself looks taller and narrower than in the larger picture.

and the flames look a little different bc i tried a liqufied method instead of a smudging method...it seemed easier to create bigger flames with this method than the smudging method, however, next time i have to create big flames, i think i will liquify it, and then smudge for detail

if that makes sense

edit
i get what your saying about it being taller and thinner on the other page. i widened it after i first put it on my desktop. it didnt seem to be in the right proportions on the desktop to me

are you using the liquify effect filter? it sort of looks like you're using that to create the flames. You might want to soften the pressure a bit so you dont get more barbed looks, except more of a fading flame look. Just a suggestion...

the only time i used liquify was on the kickass dodge logo on fire with the mirror effect. on the one that looks like barbed wire, that was not intended to be engulfed in flames. on that one i was going with a tough as nails look, not a on fire look. and on all the flame jobs before the one with the mirror, i used smudging tool to create the flames

The actual chevy logo in the picture has a bit of jaggedness around the edges, the reflection seems very well done though. You should try that effect on a picture of your truck, I've seen people do it so it looks like the pavement is wet and very reflective before
