I thought I had seen someone who mod'd their truck with what looked like a four pin trailer harness to supply power to their block heater instead of having the dorky looking plug hanging from the grill. For the life of me I can't find it on dodgeforums.com.

Was I just smoking dope?

If someone has done this no issues that the trailer harnesses are one rated for 24v and not 110v/120v?

 

I would think that it would be a fire hazzard since its not rated high enough
