Default 2006 Dakota

Greetings fellow Dakota owners-First I would like to ask, I would like a little more performance from my QC -ST MODEL.Whats the most bang for the buck-I realize these trucks are pretty hefty-this V-6 doesnt likethe hills that much.(glad I got the 3.92 gears) mileage runs from 12.5 pulling a small trailer to around 20 ifI stay around 45 MPH& dont try to keep up with traffic. One reason I have this truck is because of the deal I got.I understand now why they cutting such deals on these trucks-Kevin

ORIGINAL: Free erg

Some of these companys appreciate feedback
Some companies actively seek customer feedback (Toyota) while others could care less (most American companies) and it reflects in sales and customer satisfaction...

That might change now, though...with the former Toyota CEO (or something...not sure if he was the CEO)...either way, he might implement Toyota customer service standards. Certainly couldn't hurt.

Well guys here is my take on the way Dakotas should be-keep running the excellent sales incentives(believe me price does matter) I see they are already starting to get sensible on engine choices-the upgrade should be the Hi-Po V-8 and the base engine needs to be the 24 Valve 4.0 V-6.Shed around 3 to 400 # and maybe offer a 4.11 or 4.30 gearset(3.55) should be base.Lsd should be standard.Make the rear bumper a bit stronger-consider a 6ft bed option on QC's-narrow down the trim level choices.A larger glovebox please-factory spray in bedliner and other things-Guys please add to the list. The squeaking wheel gets the grease-Free Erg
