Default lwb in tsb

lookin at the tsb section and i clicked on 2006 dakota it says 2006 dakota quad cab lwb what is does the lwb stand for. The purpose of me looking there is to have dodge fix my vibrating brakes. feels like a warped rotor due to large amounts of towing and hard brakingto me. anyway I want to see if i fall into the rear brake tsb I have a 06 qc with 34,000 mile on it, i dont see why not, but i want a second opinion before i print it out and bring it with me to the dealer and have them fix it for free. so can some one help me out here. will they fix it even though my brakes are not coverd?

LWB means long wheel base. If you are refering to TSB # 05-004-05 or 05-002-06. It is for refacing the front rotors not replacing them. And if " feels like a warped rotor due to large amounts of towing and hard brakingto me" is it fair to expect something for free that might be related to the way you drive.....

towing is why i bought the truck and having rotors warp from towing a 5000 lbs boat every weekend is not abuse. 10,000 yeah not 5,000. just have certain expectations when i buy a newtruck with a tow package guess they might be to high for dodge. my jeep xj never had this problem and that 5000 was pushing it. maybe a better quality brakes should have been installed before braging about 7,000 tow capacity. if it was just worn pads sure i will replace them normal wear and tear but warped rotors towing a boat? come on a few emergency braking thats what they are there for right? shouldn't warp, and if the tsb is out doesnt that mean that more than one person has had the same problem.

I agree that pulling a boat on the weekends should not warp the rotors. But the TSB only applies to refacing the front rotors, not replacing them. Rotors are only covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles. I am not against you here, just wanting to let you know what the dealer is gonna say when you expect new rotors.

They can turn them for free if they are not a-holes.. Its best to go in there with a good attitude. I know NJ is different from GA. But if a guy comes in with a pissy attitude, I had rather just show him the door. A guy that comes in with a good attitude will get all the help that I can provide.....
