Hey thanks I still haven't figured out how I got that glass looking texture for the life of me though, lol. If you have a few links that would be awesome! How do you manage to get the trucks cut out so cleanly and get those 3d borders like you did on Frenchy's sig?
Online Photoshop Bible - Good start for n00bz

PhotoShopJunkie - Tutorials

PhotoShopChop - Car Tutorials

These are a few basics that I would start with.....there are other several great sites out there, but these are ones I frequent. Most have working pictures and give you an idea of what things will look like. The first one is a great tool as it has a ton of other stuff on it...

As to cutting out my image.... I just use the Polygonal Lasso Tool and go along the edges and cut out the picture.....once you get the hang of it...its actually pretty easy....

The border is simply a flat object (rectangle) with a bevel on it.... you can create your own fairly easily. In the right hand column in PS, where the image is...simply right click on it and choose Blending Options...you'll see a section marked Bevel & Emboss.....just toy with it it enough andyou'll duplicate my creation...or make one better to your liking

I fixed it....

You have to use both image tags....[IMG] & [/IMG] or [img] & [/img]

[img*]http://www.jimboscomp.com/images/condog_sig.jpg[/img*]
[image*]http://www.jimboscomp.com/images/condog_sig.jpg[/image*]

Remove the * and it will display like this...

The tags need to be in lowercase. i.e.
Code:
