was the any recalls on the 4.7 05 dak, for the 2nd airbag bc every once in awhile the 2nd air bag lights goes on than will everneutally goes off?>

 

do you have anything sitting in the seat such as bags, boxes etc. The seat has a weight system and knows if there is something in the seat and it then decides, depending on the weight,if it should use the airbag or turn it off.

 

yea, i had no idea the seats has a weight system. it was pissing me off for awhile and you answered it.

 

Glad to help. I had something in the seat one time and the lightcame on also. I had seen something about a smart seat and so I had dug into the owners manual to try and find out about it. Don't remember the trigger weights anymore but the owners manual has some info on it or it was on the airbag card that came with the truck new.
