when i died i want to come back as a puppy. this damn dog has the life. and when i take her for a ride she needs to be on my lap like she is in charge.

my dodge duke had a pretty rough life before i picked him up.

here is the story
the dog i had since i was 4 died a few months earlier, and obviously was my best friend. we all wanted a new dog, but knew it would be hard to find a new one we liked. my mom saw a lady crying in the local walmart and asked what was wrong, her bf was abusing her dog and was going to kill it if she didnt get rid of it. we decided to take it. it was a weimaraner and he had been starved, gouged with barbed wire, and his tail was cut wrong...

anyway, he turned out to be a kick *** dog. here he is

and here is cinnamon, i gave her to the gf for our 2 year anny. she really has it good. she has an amazing pedigree as well, the people that i got her from actually went to china to get her and they paid 2k for her (i saw receipts/pics ect) anyway long story short, they had a family tragedy and they were expecting triplets so they figured they should give to dog to someone that would be able to give her the attention she needed. cinnamon was about a year old when i got her. they gave her to me for $300. they wanted 1k but i guess they really liked me and asked me how much i could afford so that worked out well

We got him when he was a puppy, he's almost 16 years old now. Mother was a golden retriever we're not sure what the father was but we think he's got some newfoundland in him. I get to see him when I visit home, I'd like to get a dog here at college but I just don't have the time to care for one with classes and everything else.

 

oh yeah know what your talkin about gotta deal withlab getting in the truck. After training and a swim she's ridin in the back.

Oh man you guys got me missing my other dog Angel, I lost her in July after 12 years with her. She was my baby and only my dog. I was the only one she cuddled with, she loved the boys after they were born and was such "mother" dog to them!
Here she is:



About 6 years ago a guy dropped off his dog for me to take care of for a couple months since he was a truck driver. Two days after that he called me to tell me he was giving me his dog. Snickers has been with us ever since. He misses Angel immensely, and for a dog who was never really a social dog he has taken over the family dog role well. He is sleeping on the couch at my feet as I am typing this.

 

My GF likes to dress him up on Halloween.....






His name is Liam hes a 50lbs Lab/Pointer mix.



This is when we brought him home from the shelter. Hes a good Pootch.

 

Okay I've grown up with cats and I've always been a cat person, but I have to say this post is really starting to make me want a dog... jeez I thought I'd never say that.... I sure hope my gf doesn't read this... then she'll be all over me to get a dog...
