it has just never been tested, it may cause axle bind, it will physically fit on the truck though. but we just dont advertise it because its never been tested.

The front spacers for that kit work in the same way as the truxx kit so any axle bind issues would likely be shared between the two. The truxx kit is not recommended for 4x4's, haven't seen any actual accounts of it causing damage but I haven't looked either.

For free except shipping I'd put all of it on including blocks& shocks. And take pics of any clearance issues. Drive it up a couple of ramps too if you want.

If everything passes visual inspection I'd give it a good road test. Then there's no need for RC labor or R&D!

It looks a lot like the truxxx kit. I made the mistake of buying the truxxx kit for my 4x4 because truxxx told me it would work. Well the axles did bind up so had to remove it so I don't think the rough country kit will work on 4x4's. I wish this kit would work its much easier to install than the trailmaster kit.

Nice. Its the biggest lift available to this generation of dakota. 2.5" It seems like a pretty decent kit for 2wd definately. The Raider on the site is sittin pretty. So can we just buy the shocks? Whats the part #? I have 1" blocks installed already on my truck, would these rear shocks work well?
