the same as what you got, the dimpled/ slotted rotors with the green stuff pads.. how is the performance off the braking with these brakes?

no , calipers are just painted black. and yes , the ebc rotors and pads give way more braking performance over stock . on mine when i put on brakes as they heat up they grab more i find myself lifting off the pedal some so i want stop to short. and it does all this with all most no brake dust .

Hi,

I've read that the EBC rotors/pads make much more noise/squeaks, is this true? Is it noticeable? Also, do you think it helped the infamous "shimmy" when braking? I'm thinking about upgrading. Thanks.

Didn't have any noises on my brakes when I first bought my truck...only showed 3 miles on the odometer. Hmm

Kinda funny though, factory brakes don't usually have that problem. I put some slotted discson an eclipse and they squeeked for awhile too

hey mightpizu , my EBC pads and rotors do not squeek what so ever . the only noise they do make is when your slowing down they have a slight tire roar noise , they say it's the grooves that cause it . but not really noticeable. i do think this helped with the shimmy problem. mine only happened in the hot summer and i think it was the rear drums with the new rotors haveing better stoping power i think it took some heat off the rear drums .....

Now that you guys have had your EBC brakes for 6-7 months, what do you think of them ? Any problems ? What did you do for your rear brakes when you switched fronts ?
