Default Lowering/Level kits

Hi,

I have an idea but was wondering if someone could clarify the differences between the lowering kit (shackle) vs. the leveling kit (TM)? Do they both achieve the same thing? Is one better than the other? Are they used in conjunction with each other? Lastly, are they generally installed for appearance (personal preference)?

Appreciate it. Thanks.

The lowering shackles LOWER you rear end 1.75 inches to make it level with the front end. The TM leveling kit RAISES your front end 2 inches to make it level. If you used both at the same time it would look like your truck was about ready to take off airplane style.

Ha! The image of using both is killing me. Very funny! Ya, I guess you wouldn't use both at the same time. Thanks for the info.
