i just got the fastman tb today finally, took some time. the direction says to reset the pcm, wouldnt doing that reset the jet chip also?

No the Jetchip is a plug and play system. Just to be careful though I would take it off before you reset it. And if you mean 'reset' as in disconnect the battery, then it will not hurt the jetchip. If going to the dealership then yes, dont want a tech being stupid about warranty questions with you.

I've done it plenty of times.

yea it says disconnect the positive battery cable than turn key on than off

i brought it do the service department bc the place i live is so strict they dont you want you do anything when it comes to a car. they told me they would have to reset everything so the right amount of air will go through and so the idol will run smooth.

you have to reset the PCM? huh on my old dakota i put a new throttle body on it and never unplugged the battery or anything and it ran just fine! why does he say to disconnect the battery?

it just said its a good idea to reset the pcm by removing the positive battery cable than turing hte igniton on than off

honestly man i didn't and everything was fine..why would you ahve to reset the PCM?? I'm still confused on that part...? hey how long did it take you to get your TB????

iplaced the order like october 28, the reason why it took long bc he said he was going on vaca than he had to wait for some cores to come in.. so
