defrosters
I've been having a problem with my defrosters in this really cold weather....they cause a lot of moisture to build up on the inside of my windows, making it hard to see. Someone I know told me to turn on the a/c when running your defrosters to get the humidity out of the air. Do any of you guys do this?
the A/C should run automatically when you put the defrosters on, if not you can turn it on to hhelp, in my truck it is automatic on the all except 1 defrost setting (that one is my favorite), yes it helps, yes, it should be automatic
It definetly helps, but I HATE having it be on automtically (anyone know how to disable it?) I sometimes have a problem with the air being too dry (and thus suffer from dry eyes and runny nose/sore throat) during the winter around here, so I end-up cycling the defroster on and off by hand on long trips.

idk what your controls look like but mine has 4 settings that will run the defroster vents(all the way on the right hand side of the ****) and the first one(farthest to the left) does not run the A/C, or you could just uplug the power to the A/C compressor if you want it to not run at all in the winter,
or on one of my dads old cars he wired a switch for the A/C into the cab for when the defrosters were on (it would only control the a/c with defrosters) to turn it on/off
