Nah, if you "slam" your truck then it's usually just an indicator that you got confused at the dealership and accidentally bought a truck instead of a car. You know, they had cars with beds, perhaps slammers really want an El Camino.... LOL j/k
Looking at our front suspensions and the practicality of these trucks offroad (at least for me) at some point next summer my TM leveling kit will be coming off and 2" lowering shackles going on the rear. These trucks just aren't as practical as a lot of offerings for offroad to me, might as well make a street truck out of it. When I'm making money later I can build up an off roader.
On my '05 4X4 quad cab SLTthe stock size is 265/70/16.
I have a set of 255/75/17's in my garage with new 17" rims that are going on it soon. I assume they will rub too since I get a very slight amount while turningto the bump stopswith the stock tires. I'm more than likely going to have to put a leveling kit on, so I'm buying one.
I just wanted to clarify the stock size for Frenchy.
