Default Truck is still Stalling!!!

I had the TB cleaned and changed out the plugs two months ago. I pulled up to a stop sign today and the truck stalled!!!I was very suprised!

I installed the jet chip stage II two weeks ago. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Maybe it might be the EGR valve causing the stalling?

with the Jet... make sure its properly seated and cliped into place. Because I live in dusty AZ, I got a small can of computer aerosol **** and blew out the chip and the module insert area before clipping into place. Have not had one problem that I can point to that could be module related.

My truck is out of warrantyas well. It hasn't stalled on me today, yet. I might try cleaning the EGR first and see if that helps.

I think ifANY vehicle stalls, the check engince light should comes on throw a code. That way one could tell what the heck is going on with it and fix it.

you would have to remove it to clean it and if your going to do that you might aswell spend the 70 bucks and replace it. mine looked fine it wasn't carboned up or anything. there is a diaphram in there and if it is compromised in any way it will not work right and eventualy fail then throw a code.

My truck stalls about once a month. I had the dealer reprogram my ECU with the latest program and it has not stalled in the last 2 months. I sure hope it's fixed.

The dealship (3 months ago when I first brought it in) wouldn't re-flash the ECM for me because the check engine light didn't come on. They stated that it had nothing to do with reprograming the ECM. If it stalls again (which I'm sure it will) I guess I'll have to knock some heads around at the service dept.
