Default Noobie checking in.. 07 ST

I've been reading the threads and I decided to sign up and say hey..

I just picked up a 2007 Blue ST 4x4

I think I got a pretty good deal at 23k out the door for the 07' with 25 miles on it. I love the color, bit surprised to find no power door locks, windows, and no tilt wheel. She's a bit STripped but I still like it. I did find the thermometer which is pretty cool. Any other bells and whistles I have missed? Kinda sucks that you have to roll the window down to adjust the mirrors, they could have atleast stuck a joystick inside the door. Lots of things formed in the bed I am not quite sure why..

The dealer put some sort of alarm in it for $225 which makes the drivers side door keyless. I like that when you activate the alarm the door locks and it unlocks when you deactivate it. It also locks when you turn the key, I want to add actuators to the other 3 doors.

I'd like to put a mild lift on it but it looks like they are all for 4x2's?? Is the 06 the same as the 07 as far as suspension goes?

Quick tidbits about me.
I like vehicles. I am currently building a 63 IH Scout (5.0/C6/203/300 with HPD44 w/arb/HD D60 w/35 spline moser shafts and arb, etc etc etc.

And a 57chevy wagon

1936 ford

And I have been driving a 73 bug I fully restored for a few years now

Before that it was my Toyota that I built and have driven since I got it stock at 15 years old.

I also built this one, ground up as well

I've had a few more vehicles and I do have a V8 durango that I tow with but those are the ones I have put my work into. Needless to say I could chop off the front end of my new dakota and SAS it but that's not my plan, it is my daily driver but I would like to improve it and would like to read what others have done to improve their V6 ST's..

Thanks
Brandon Miller, PE

Welcome! Looks like you have quite the collection going, I'm jealous

You can get the TrailMaster 2" leveling kit for the front which is safe for the 4x4's, most of the other ones are only recommended for 4x2. TM kit is around $90 at autoanything, I have it on mine and it makes a big difference in the look, helps stiffen up the front suspension a bit too.

Yeah a TM 2" kit and 1" rear blocks seem to be all the 4x4 guys can do. That and some bigger tires isnt all that bad.

I have a comparison side by side pic of the lifted truck next to a stock one somewhere on the site if you want to see how it looks.

Not sure but sincethe ST is the base model. I'd be surprised if it had the overhead computer but no power windows.
