You can take the bumper off, it's REALLY simple, I've done it, on NUMEROUS occasions...

 

Finally got some pictures...the bumper was originally bent under itself...

I tried to talk them into replacing the lights with Night Runner lights (among other things) but they would not do it. Don't know why, but this is not my insurance company picking up the tab so that may be why....

good to hear your alright, you should try and get the deep throat the hood that is

Yeah mine looked pretty similar to Dak in Blkwhen my wife hit a deer. Except my front grille was pretty nonexhistant. It exploded into several fragments. I wish I had pics to show how close the damage looks. I think final $ to fix was 3,000. Just a little over. I have the reciept somewhere. Should have that new hood price to confirm with Frenchy
