Default Truck went to shop today

Well I was hearing a growl/howl from the front end and thought my BFG ATs were starting to cup and make noise. I have 18k on the truck and wanted to put the Firestone dest ATs on to quiet it down and free up a little power(the BFGs are 11 lbs per tire heavier, they are load range D). I talked the wife into it(she said-will it make it quieter) of course I said yes. Well after the tire swap I was a bit suprised to still here the howl. I thenthought maybe a bearing was going bad and took it to the dealer. Sure enough the driverside bearing was bad. Of course they didn't have one in stock so I have to waituntil Monday to get it back. The dealership has been very great to work with and didn't hesitate to get it in and fix it.On a side note the service manager said that he has changed alot of wheel bearings, not just on the daks, claims that the Minnesota roads take a toll on them.

What my wife should do to me for not checking the bearing first....

Well now I have a nice set of BFG At KOs sitting in my garage with 18k on them, anyone near minneapolis need a set.....smokin deal.
