Our truck is back and running great so now we are looking for accessories and wondering what works for other Dakota owners. Yes, I have checked out several sites and after reading one of the posts above, I know that Dakota accessories are hard to find. [:-]

First thing is a bug guard or front mask? We live in love bug country down here in Florida and those critters make a mess out of vehicle front ends in the spring and fall. The masks seem to offer more coverage (entire nose) but I see alot more of the plastic hood guards than masks. Anyone know why? What do you have on your Dakota?

Bumper guards, front AND back...we have a lot of peoplethat think nothing of cracking the paint off your bumpers [:@]while trying to get in/out of parking spots down here. (and just drive off) [:@] Since the front and back bumpers of our truck are painted, we are trying to find someway to keep the bumpersprotected. Any ideas?

We're thinking about nerf bars too? (to help get our old butts and our kids youngs ones up in the seats) I'm just not sure how these would look on a standard QC truck (not "raised").

There is a full bra available in the mopar accessory book for dakotas. I think you can see it on the dodge website

 

for nerfs aka sliders don't rule out your local fabricator, he can make anything you can dream of and it won't be much more than those cheap bolt ons..

If I do the body lift I will make some nerfs for mine to sort of cover it up. I could make these in a pure bolt on app.
