power wire...anyone?
Has anyone who is running one actually done any after-install research to see if this has any adverse affect on the engine? I remember seeing it discussed on here or another forum that some people tend to think it's not a good idea. Advanced timing, leaning the fuel mixture, etc etc, blah blah.
I would be interested in one (I have been somewhat for a little while now) but I'd want to know first if there is any chance of it damaging the engine.
Danke

Oh yeah, I think I got everything at radio shack for around that...maybe less actually.
The resistor was like $0.45 in the loose bin and I had the spade connectors.
It is EASY to do...
[Male spade] [female spade]-----Wire-----(resistor)-----wire-----[Male spade] [female spade]
That way I can just pull it out and plug the factory wire back together in the winter.

I made my own. However, I would like another one with the cool connectors.
I already had the spade connectors, solder,and wire. Just purchased the 5-pack of resistors from the shack....$.99

Well..... I figure that when its 0* outside... My engine probably doesnt need to see colder temps.
And winter gas sucks, I run premium MOST of the time, but latley I have been running regular (due to me being broke
)
No real reason to it, its just something I do.
