I drove a work truck for a while that had the nitto desert terrains. I would recomend those, they had great traction in all weather. (Colorado) They look cool to. Check em out. oh yeah the ones I rode on were siped. I love siping because of them.
With My tax return I just purchased bfg mud terrains, I love them, 265/75/16. by the way got them siped too.
good luck and happy shopping

Works VERY well. Seems like it would damage the tire but after a year and a half of abusing my company tires they show no real wear and tear. rather amazing actually.

I'm a fan of BFG A/T's. Good traction in all conditions. Not sure where you are, but they are great for snow and ice. Good all around tire, quiet on the road and they wear pretty good. I have also heard good things about the mickey thompson ATZ tires. But Jadman is right, a tire with siping will provide excellent traction!

I am actually looking into some Goodyear forteras... I talked with a couple of guys at the local discount tire and they said that the Forteras performed better on Snow/Ice/ wet pavement that the BFG's... The BFGs ruled off road though.
They run around the same coin, and I dont venture off teh beaten path TOO often. I might go with them, but I like the Yokohama geolanders too...
