New Tires
With 48,500 miles on my 2006 Dakota, I figured it was time to ditch the stock 245/70R16 BSW On/Off road tires and replace them with something more aggressive. My uncle works at a tire shop so I asked him about some BF Goodrich A/T tires, but he told me to get the Nokian Vatiiva H/T's instead. I decided to step it up a little bit and get the 265's which look awesome on the truck now. These tires are supposed to be really good in the snow and quiet on the highway.
Since I do a 110 mile round trip to work and back every day I need something that's going to be good on the road and in snowy conditions, but also great off road for those days when I want to play around on the trail with my truck. So far I've driven through about 6" of snow and ice with no problem and the tires are no louder than the stock ones, they're absolutely quiet, which is cool. The steering and handling also seems to be just as good.
After I get my leveling kit in, I'll put some pics up.
