Default The damage...

So I'm feeling the effects of my extreme off road fun in my truck
Damaged Rack & Pinion on the power steering
Damaged Transmission oil pan...
seal leak in the power steering hose

Good thing I got tat extended warranty...only going to cost $100 to repair the power steering, and then$175 for the oil pan...

good thing I also bought the ATV...my truck isn't as tough as I thought it was...dang it...lol

Some advice for others...don't go jumping your truck 2ft in the air at 70mph...

Might as well go break something else so you can have them fix a whole bunch of things under warranty at once

i once jumped my truck about 3 feet in the air due to some VERY uneven road. It landed so hard that the front end jumped again when it hit the ground, luckily i didnt break anything. I've also jumped railroad tracks numerous times. All three generation dakotas seem to have weak front ends, I wouldnt purposely jump my truck if I were you.

good thing the dealership is covering it under warraty and not trying to put the blame on you. I had a jeep that I had an extended warraty on and my power steering pump went out on. When I brought it in to the dealership to get replaced they told me it was my fault because it looked like I hit something

Jimbo, instead of off roading your new 2wd truck, you should look into getting a 4wd beater like a old full size blazer or jimmy, or a jeep of some sort. Lol

haha, i've thought of that before, just get an ol like 80's ram 250, one of those HUGE pickups with front and rear axles the size of a sumo wrestler...but yeah that's why I have the quad now...my truck can get to camp without any damage on it, and I unload the quad, put on a helmet and go flyin! I have learned a very expensive lesson...ugh...oh well! at least I had awesome fun doing it!
