How do you like it?
It's a PIA, it takes up so much of a small space to begin with.

It makes it almost impossible for anyone to sit back there because now you can't even turn sideways to get a little more leg room.

Yeah I hear ya withthe room in the back issue, just curious how it sounds and such. I know its not gonna compare to like my2 12" comp vrs that were in my 93", but isthere a drastic/noticeable difference? Did you buy the truck with that option, or did you buy the sub after you bought the truck?

The back seats in the dakota are useless any way unless your an elf trust me and go with jl I was an moble electronics installer for years on the competion level the stealth series box if your lucky enough that your vehicle was choosen for one of these subs is well worth it and the enclosure fits between both seats so the can come down personaly I would ripp the eats out any way an average adult can't sit back there anyway.

This is the factory sub.It is a translucent bluish green plastic.
It also glows blue to the beat of the music or constant blue or off.

It came from the factory 276 watt Apline Premium Sound System with optional sound box group total of 9 speakers addidional 2 X 70 watt amps, 750 amp battery,508 total watts. As for how it sounds, I'm 62 years old and worked in a factory environment all my life. I'm lucky I can still hear.

So all I'd have to do is go to an upholstery/interior shop, have them cut the middle 20% out of my 60/40 rear bench, refinish it to look factory, and I could fit that unit in my QC and still use the seats!

Here is another picture from a different angle from my brochure.
In your QC there is more room between the back of the front seats and the back of the cabso the sound box would not reach all the way to the front armrest.

JAB02LHS beet me to the pictures, but it actually sounds pretty good being a factory job. with the volume low, you dont even know it's there, unless your playing something with alot of bass, the higher you have the volume, the better it sounds though. The factory radio lacks the abality to fine tune the sounds though.

I have the factory sub, it doesn't seem like very many people went with that option.

Bill
I have the original Infinity premium sound system with the 275w amp, back during the 2005 era. I really like the system because the bass can be enough to rattle the mirrors even with all the windows down, but it's also just perfect in sound quality for songs. I dont understand the point of having so much bass that all you hear is BBOOOOMMM BOOOOOMMM.
