Default EGR valve and advice

I am new to the forum. I have an 05 4.7L Quad cab auto trans. I recently replaced my EGR valve and found I had new unexplained Idle issues. I followed the thread to remove and replace the throttle position sensor wire and that seemed to help. Also I got to wondering about my Factory plugs and the inconsistency in gaps. I just got back from a test drive after installing 3923's at .040. Great advice it runs like a different vehicle. Also factory gaps ranged from .046 to .058. Thank you to everyone in the forum and I look to upgrage some stock parts in the near future.

Could someone post a link to the "throttle position sensor wire" fix? I've tried searching that term and several variations and haven't found it yet.
Thanks!
