I've been waiting for my backordered swaybar endlink for three weeks. I need to drive on the interstate w/ a load and i don't feel comfy. any suggestions? I haven't asked for a loaner yet.
i would find out if the dealership would give you a loaner cuz they might ...just tell them that its for work and the truck doesnt feel right and you dont feel safe drivein it on the highway..thats what i would do
"chrysler does not supply loaners" is what i have been told. A broken, $25k, 11 month old, under warranty truck should not require 3+ weeks to get a part for. this is not the first time, either. I have waitedtoo long for parts that should not have broken at least twice already, not to mention, my wife being stranded on the side of the road in a 3 month old truck--or should i say terd. sorry i like my dak as much as the rest of y'all, but my patience w/ chrysler resembles a peice of saran wrap. The last piece of saran wrap. I told the guy at the dealership that it looks like it's chevy time. he said "i hear ya."

ok, dodge says they will supply a loaner if the truck has to be taken off the road. they also went on record saying that the truck was perfectly safe. and BTW, rdmudbugs, it is not the dealer's fault, good point. it is under warranty, and the offroad hadling is better w/out the swaybar anyway. i take back the "terd" statement. Hope is restored in dodge trucks.
well, I just brought my truck in for a noise coming from the front end at low speeds and they diag'd it as the front sway bar end links... as you had said they had to order the parts. I guess I may also have to wait a little bit for them to come in.
BTW, i've been waiting about 4 mos for apark brake release handle. I just laugh it off. No really, i don't care. I said it doesn't bother me. Whats the big f--ing deal!! I'll just pull on the f--ing wire for 4 f--ing months!! I f--ing like it!!!!!
