Default Tranny clunk

I know it was discussed ad naseum last year, but my 05 just got the clunk. It clunks going into reverse from park and from drive into neutral. It has 26 k on it.

I'm just wondering if any of you that had problems found a solution? It's under B to B warranty until the end of the month and I transferred the driveline warranty.

I just had some service done at the dealer for the rough idle and all they did was reflash the computer, which seems to coincide with the clunk. I plan on bringing it back on monday, but I'd like to be informed before I go.

Thanks,

Sean

well its time for its check up. they will drain and replace the fluid along with the filter element and tighten up the band. this should do the trick. if not, then the soleniod is going bad. also check the u-joints. they may need to be replaced.

Superdak,
Are you sure there is aband adjustment on a 545RFE? Everything I have read says there is not, I would sure like to know.

Thanks,
