Two words, SLOW TRUCK...hehe

Oh yeah, plus I have heard racingstripes, the big 10-12in wide ones, give ya like 25 hp, but only the wide ones[8D]

Sometimes I think the right pedal is just for noise; it doesn't always seem to make the truck go faster.

I'd like to drive a 4.7 with the stick shift to see how they compare; I'll bet up to 25 or 30 MPH the V6 could run with a 4.7 auto because of the gearing, but its probably lights out from then on.

It's not even the gearing, the cursed torque management limits us up to a certain point, not that I could make use of it with the stock POS rubber anyways...

Lghtngblt (can we call you something that's easier to type? lol ), don't forget about the VTEC stickers, those have to be good for 50hp or so... especially if it says "VTAK" [sm=lol.gif]

My 2006 Dodge Dakota club cab sucked the gas when I first got her. I was getting on avg about 14 - 16 mpg. Once she reached 30000 miles she jumped up to 18 mpg. I travel 21 miles one way to work. The secret is if you keep your foot out of it and do about 60 mph she will stand a deliver.

i enjoy the gas mileage i get out of the truck i fill up every two weeks. working the 12 hour 3 day get paid for 40 hrs really helps out. and on the off days we take taras focus for the beater runs. the best is when i go to work or go home there is no stop and go traffic. 3pm until 3 am. so it works out for both shifts

I just added bedstripes today immediate power difference must be +50hp, +50 torque, +10mpg. It's crazy, combined it with one of those performance chips off of ebay I now have 300hp, over 300 lb/ft torque and I am getting 30mpg!
