Travis if you get HID's get something like 6000K they are roughly the purest white color you can get, 8000K is more blue, and anything above 8000K is mainly for show use, and not extremely bright at night...
I mean, sure, it's going to be slightly better than stock, cuz the road will be totally different than a yellow light beam being shot at it, but it's not gonna be extreme, as in the case of having a 6000K or 8000K setup...
I'm personally looking for a 5000K setup, with 3000K for my fogs...

like i said before i installed 8000k and it was the best dam thing ive ever seen- id recommend that to anyone who is looking into getting hids, dont get me wrong frenchy u may be right but ive installed 8s and they are redic- 10s are suppose to artic blue- i think it all depends on the person who made them what color u get-

Yeah I bought some 8500k bulbs off of ebay for like $10, just because they were cheap. They are okay when the weather is perfect at night and you are out on a completely dark highway/interstate with no streetlights around. It was pouring rain the first night I used them and I couldn't see a damn thing and street lights seem to just wash them out. I would go with HIDs just make sure you buy a full kit because without all the proper components I thinkyou can melt wires using just hid bulbs.
