i have no problems with my 3923 plugs at all and i am still aver. between 380 and 420 miles on a tank of gas. depending on the right foot. the champions that came factory were incorrectly gapped at the factory, causing the bumpy idle but with the 3923 it really took care of it.

Update: The 5224 gave me back the accelaration that I lost with the 3923's. They did clear up the rough idle alittle bit. Now I have to wait till monday for my jet chip to arrive.

superdak- what all have you done to your truck? 380-420 miles??!?!?! I'm lucky if i can go 300, even with a light foot. insert jealousy here.

I'm putting in my 3923's this afternoon, and i cant remember the gap. .040" right?

The best I have gotten with my truck was right around 330 miles, but most of the time I'm right around the 295 to 312 miles on a tank. BTW my Neon won't even get 380 miles to a tank.

holy i only get 370-430 KM per tank...and u guys are getting that in MILES[:@]

i use 60L for that....how much fuel are u guys using....(i dont know the conversions)

i like my 3923's alot more pick up at wider throttle loads

very nice

now if i can figure out why my truck is shaking (sorta feels likes something thats unlocking then locking...or a driveline shake...at around 70 km/h (45 mph) ill be good

Haha! You guys are hilarious. With my 05 QC with 4.7 and 6 speed manual I was getting around 13.5 to 14 around town and mid 17s highway. With my 08 with the new 4.7 and auto ([:@] ) I'm averaging 12.5 to 13 around town. Haven't really had it on the highway yet to guage the mileage. That equates to around 220 miles on a tank with the 08 and I used to be able to push 230-250 with the 05. Where you guys get these numbers is BEYOND me.

the thing is i have to use a higher octane gas. the higher the octane the slower the burn which will create more power. but if driven correctly under normal driving it will increase your mileage. my buddy has an srt 8 charger and is getting over 20 mpg. but he drives it normal. all the mods dont mean crap unless you use the truck. i am a weekend warrior for racing but as a daily driver i use it as that. i do 60 mph on the highway in the slow lane while everyone elses blows by me at 80mph. around town with the 4.10 gears i really dont need to push the gas pedal to get the truck moving. cruise control is your best friend.

I totally agree. I am getting 285-315 miles per tank (worst 247, best 323). I have the 4.7L in my '07. I do about equal hwy and "around town" driving. I have been pretty good averaging about 16 - 17 mpg with the balance of roads I drive. I have had the mpg to 21.1 but that was while I reset the trip computer as I was driving 70...LOL! I think 16-17 is good for these engines. If you are averaging more than that??? Well, you have a completely different engine than Mopar makes. Now, if you are like SuperDak, you can get the extraordinary mpg by frequenting the slow lane as long as you have the patience of a saint like he apparently must have (if it were me driving in the slow lane all of the time, I would slit my wrists just dealing with granny 1 and 2 driving in front of me). Hey more power to him. I wish I had the patience.

well i mean in my 04 dak (which should ALMOST be included in the third gen part cause it has NOTHING incommon with the second gen daks) i have the 3.7L v6 auto with only a k&n filter and the 3923 plugs and i get consistancely ~415 km per tank.. and that aint half bad for a 6000 # truck!

i drive in the slow lane ALL the time on the highway cause when u think about it

if u go the speed limit (110 on highway)

u get to lets say edmonton alberta in 3 hours

if u go 120 u get to edmonton maybe 15 minutes quicker but u burn alot more fuel

think of even higher speeds...

just never made sense to me...
