Default Remote Start

Ok guyz....
I'm confused by Dodge and Mopar here. Got a 05 QC....according to Dodge I can't get a remote start system if I have the "Mopar Security System"
What does this acctually mean??
I have the keyless entry key fob with the automatic locks and panic alarm....so if I open the door with the key if the alarm is set...it will go off.
So is this what they concider the "Mopar Security System"????
The reason why I am confused is according to Dodge I CAN NOT have the remote start on my 05 Dakota with this....but if you look at the new 2008's-it shows you can get the alarm AND remote start together.
SO CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF I CAN OR CAN NOT GET THIS ON MY 05??
THANKS!

Default RE: Remote Start

Personally I say go aftermarket, I had a Viper 5900 STS installed on mine, two way alarm with LCD remote and remote start. It's a better security system overall than what you can get from Mopar and it's upgradeable with different modules. Python is good too, they're pretty much the same as Viper, made by the same company.
