Hiya
Hi All,
I've been lurking a while, and researching. Took the plunge a week ago, and picked up an '05 QC, 4x4, with a 4.7 for a good price.
Nice truck, and so far, so good. Harder on gas than I like, but i knew that going in.
Now, here's my problem. It has a factory spare tire lock. More like a winch lock, I guess, and the previous owner can't find the key.
Anybody know how to get the lock insert out, with a minimum of damage?
Thanks,
Guy

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing... just cut it and get a new one. My brother had to do teh same thing to his "work" ram... one of his employees lost the "key" and he just cut his and got a new one. wasnt that tough on his truck.
