I might be taking care of the actualcutting and such tonight... if not, it will be tomorrow night. (hopefully)
I have to watch the kids tonight since Jess will be working late, so that kinda puts a pinch on any metal cutting.

So, your saying your gonna cut your hood yourself dude? Man I wish I knew how to do that.
BTW where did you get your scoop from? or did you make it lol...like the Frenchmans homemade propeller..

In order to keep your hood from rusting... you have to hit the cut with paint and clear... or you can use some silicone sealer...
The fiberglass hood was originally from ebay, but in order for it to work on our trucks... it takes a lot of work. the hood line from the ram is way different. you will need to sand and sand to get it right.
The scoops on ebay run like 60 bucks...
I kinda took a different route though. We ordered my brother a scoop for his ram (from ebay) and I made a plaster mold and used that to make mine. its verry thick. I am guessing around 6 or 7 layers thick. its a heavy somegun.
I was an idiot and didnt take any pics of it in the mold, but its nothing special to look at anyway.
As of now, its 3-M'ed on, but awaiting some cutting and rivets...

I will get some pics, but its raining... and I cant decide if its worth taking out the hood support cross beam for this little "project"...
I'd rather have it safe than functional... if I cant make it work...
