Default Trucky Update.....

Hey guys, just got An IM from Trucky and he asked me to post this for him because the site wont let him post.....

Hey guys, long time no talk.
I actually havn't had my truck in a while. For those of you that don't know...
I graduated language school in March and drove the 'kota from Cali to TX. I got my wings and drove from there to Omaha in april where I left it in storage until I had to go back. That next day I flew to WA state and started survival school. I graduated that CRAZY trainingerly juneand Im now in Omaha as of this june where I get to STAY! Finally my permanent duty station...
Anyways they pay us a lot when we travel to training bases and Im looking at some good upgrades.
I know I want the fastman TB. I'm also trying to get on the power wire train, cant seem to find it though.
I relly want to do that electric fan MOD too but i'll need some help. Switch to AMSOIL. Maybe a PCM flash in the future. And spray in bed liner for 5+ HP. ;o)
I'd appreciate your input on those mods and I hope to be much more active on here soon!
Thanx guys. P.S. When I brake hard or am at stop lights sometimes my idle is so out of wack I have to rev up to keep from shutting off, been that way on and off for a year or more...What's the deal?

As I recall that is an issue with all Dakotas not painted in Inferno Red Crystal Pearl Coat.

hahaha,

Yeah I've heard of the rough idle alot, about a year ago I switched my spark plugs this helped with the rough idling for a while, as of the last month its happened twice, but all in all the new plugs helped alot. I know others have done that as well, although I'm not sure if it was an orginal TSB...

also.....

Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat pwns all :-P [sm=chairshot.gif]

as for your rough idle, the throttle positioning sebsor is on its way out, part is only 106.00, mine went and i had an that bad idle. truck would start to idle real low then idle high and then back and forth every time i stopped. simple to replace, just 2 allen screws on the throttle body, and unpluging the wiring harness. if you look at the pic that says stock throttle body. it is that plastic part right there inside the throttle body.
