yo i did mine and it took like 2 hours i let them dry for 3 and i drove on them right after no big deal- just need to make sure they are dry before u put the rims back on-
If you have the time, and elbow grease, polish them to chrome like finish. This requires a lot of sanding/dremeling, and buffer wheeling. After the raw metal is at a mirror shine, hit them with hi-temp sealer or they will rust. Did this to a friends Acura. Looks great. But not doing it again unless I'm paid well.
