what ever gap is listed on the sticker uner your hood, its usually(if i recall correctly on chrysler products .40, at least the ones that we have owned)

Hey guys, I don't want to come off sounding like a know it all...I just want to help with my knowledge.

First thing about plugs. They are not pre-gapped. They are gapped persay, but just to a "generic" setting.

Example: The plug that fits in a Gen 3 Viper is the same exact plug that goes into B&S OHV engines. Yet the gap is not the same.

Now about coppers, use them if you want a good spark and don't mind changing then every 20-25k

They wear fast, but you want that. Why you ask? Well when the plug fires under cylinder pressure, it is easier for the spark to form on softer metals. The softer the material, the easier it is to fire. Copper plugs are great to use, even in turbo and supercharger apps.

Platinum, will last a long time. Thing is they get harder to fire as they get older. Iridium, same deal.

Save you money and use coppers, whatever brand you choose.
