thats ok bad ***, we know you dont get out of the institue much. here is a few pics of our set up. the easiest way is to remove the electrical connector from the coil first. just squeeze the part with your thumb that has the blue and red wire to it and pull. nexted remove the little holding nut from the top of the coil , pull up on coil becareful they are on good, you may scrape a finger ot two. thus giving you access to the plug. you may have to remove some stuff to get at all the plugs, the ones in the back are terribble to get at. should take you about 1.5 hours for doing it the first time and quicker as you get use to doing it

Worst one to get at is the back left plug (if you're standing in front of the truck looking at it). Make sure you have a few ratchet extensions before you start so you don't have to run out and buy one part-way through the job

ORIGINAL: spudsterier

i changed my plugs yesterday and it took almost 20 minutes just to find the damn things....ive never had a vehicle with this coil setup before
Installed my3923's recentlyand it was Deja Vu for me! My05 Yamaha YZ250FMX bike has the exactsame design (plug on coil,no coil wiresand a plugtoo deepto reach by hand). I ended upgrabbing mybike tool kit which had everything I needed including a 5/8" deep well socket with 1 wrap of electrical tape inside to hold the plug when removing and installing.Tool kit also includedsomehandy ty-wraps. You can use the head of the ty-wrap to fish out a deep well socketif it pops off the extension. Works great!Took me all of 25 min...(6 vs 8 cyl).
