BAH! I tried to do a powerbrake burnout video...didn't go so well. She kept dieing on me! She wouldn't redline or anything. She be starting a smoke show for about 5 seconds and then die. The only good one I did was the first. That lasted about 8 seconds and she was kicking sideways on me REAL fast. I was using one foot for the brake and gas and the other for the clutch. Any advice on this?

I've been told the trick to stick shift burnouts is (of course) a high rev clutch dump, and then to be quick but not sharp (don't stab the brake) with the clutch foot. Even if you do a bit of a slow-roll to start, once the tires and engine are up to speed, you should be able to slowly come to a stop and commence roasting.

No personal experience in the are though.

Also, props on that quick 1-2 shift...you really gotta grip it and rip it with those triple cone 2nd gear synchros.

they make a roll control kit for our trucks. it is a universal kit for 70.00. coondog05 has this installed in his truck works great simply apply the brakes then hold down the button. it will keep pressure on the frt tire braking system leaving the rears to spin freely at will.

Yeah thats a good point; get a front brake line lock and smoke to your heart's content.

No kidding? Well I think that's about enough then. I'm not wanting to pay for another tranny.
