Mancini racing sells this for half of what a K&N costs, and gives about 3 more HP; and only takes 11 minutes or less to install. Watcha guys think?

 

what the hell are you gonna do with that junk. you might as well go out and by the k/n drop in filter. the whole point of switching out the intake, is that under the big box is were the restriction is. plus what type of heat shield does it come with?

i bought my k/n off of ebay for 212.00 including shipping. the deals are out there just keep searching

 

Hey Travis, That was the exact set-up on a 05 Dak. quad cab 4x4 4.7v8 that I test drove yesterday. The surround set pretty tight against the hood, but I don't see how it could really get any more air. If you had a ram air hood and some modes, that could be a good set up.

 

I'd rather make one out of PVC pipe. I wasn't considering buying it. Just throwing it out there really/
