Yes, you have what they concider the "stock security system" on your truck.
I have this system on my 05 QC Laramie too.
The red light indicated the system is activated and if you take you key and open the door with the alarm activated, LOOK OUT!!! HA HA....I've done it, and I was embarassed!!! I was afraid someone at my apartment complex was gonna think I was tryin to steal it.
Make sure you read your owners manual on how to shut it off and on if you do a "test" cuz I have trouble figuring it out without the book.

Yep it is the fancy stock security. It went nuts and I tried shutting it down, took 15 secs....[sm=laughat.gif]ha ha
