Oh ok, I was actually looking at those before, emailed K2 motor sports and was told they take H1 bulbs.

Think I asked if it was a plug-n-play install or are there wiring changes that need to be done. I think someone mentioned upgrading the bulbs to a brighter bulb, if so, what did you go to for a brighter bulb. Think that was about it.
Thanks...

ok first off the original wiring is plug in play but they extra leds and halos your going to have to wire in yourself- i made it easy for wyatt by just putting everything together and giving him the 2 wires he needed to tap in, by the way i upgraded the halos bc they werent bright enough but that was my custom job which was pretty awesome and would def do again- H1 bulbs i would just go hid set up even know your going to spend 170 bucks on new ones- like i tell everyone once u get hids your never wana go without them.... the only thing ur gonna have to do to hook up the led part and halo is tap into the turn signal for the running lights and your on your way- it sounds simple but once you start getting into it your gonna be like WTF... i know i did at first but if u have done it before you will have no problem- well since this is along post i guess im done, if you need help just ask me the amount of time ive had those i must have had them out of my truck at least 25 times lol so i know exactly what ur looking at.....

Let's see, received my ebay headlight housings today....one chrome, one black, interesting look for the truck. Also, no instructions on what to do with the wires that are outside of the headlight harness, seller is protected himself with no phone nunber, only an email address and P.O. Box... Guess the "knock off" term does apply. Called Paypal and lodged a compliant, see what happens. My first experience with ebay...NO MORE.. Proexhaust or xrteam is the sellers id, beware... OK, I vented...

Thanks for the info. Contacted Paypal yesterday afternoon and they started a "Resolution Complaint" against the seller. The seller has yet to respond to my email or call me. Guess I'll contact my bank and see if I can stop pay or dispute charge on my credit card. Like the old saying, "You get what you pay for"...

Howdy, been lurking around here for awhile and finally decided to join. I don't drive my '05 Dak much, (6,500 original miles) but I love my little truck. Anyway, trying to decide on a headlight bulb upgrade. What are the feelings on the Slyvania brand? Which if any do you like,(SS Ultra, Silver Star, Cool Blue, or Extravision). Thanks.

I put the SilverStar in a 04 Vette I had, loved the white light but people that I followed didn't like em much....I ordered new headlight assemblies from K-2 Racing yesterday, when they get in, see what I'm going to do there.

well my buddy got the Silverstars in his 2002 VW Passat and he said they keep burning out too fast...if you ask me he might be touching the actual bulb when installing them causing them to burn out in no time, but i dont know.

too bad about your ebay experience. I buy and sell all the time, but I try to stay away from any seller that has a rating below 98%. That is usually a good rule of thumb. Post the pics when you the set from K-2. good luck.
