I doubt I could build an intake and get a used fan for under $100.

I built my friend an intake for his 89 LTC, and it was 50 dollars, total, including K&N filter, and I bought a used Mark VII fan for 25 dollars....

They fan may cost $25 but the wiring kit is $75+...i might do the hat idea too, haha

well, I had a buncha 10 gauge wire, and Jimbo hooked me up with some relays....
It cost me like, 5 bucks to wire, and like 3 for a switch and fuse.
