Unhappy Vibration

I took my 05 Quad in for service. The dealer replaced R/Rear emergency brake cable and rear stabilizer bar bushings. I got the truck back and now after driving aprox 5 miles when hitting the brakes the truck vibrates badly. I feel no pulsation in the brake pedal just a rear end vibration or hopping. Needles to say the dealer has it back in the shop. They did give me a loaner.
The technician who test drove it with me was very surprised. He said I didn't even pull the wheel off. I replaced the cable and the bushings, he seemed stumpped. I'm hopping for the best.

Don't you have to remove the wheel and drum to change an e-brake cable? At least on older dakotas you had to.

Check the the Recalls and TSB (technical service bulletin) link. There is a rear vibration issue that may apply in your case. I took my '05 v6 in and fixed n/c.

The link at the top of the forum page doesn't work, is there another link someplace?

Smile vibration

Problem solved Dealer says they installed the E brake cable incorrectly. Sounds like BS to me. The bottom line is the problem is gone so I don't care what they did to correct it.
